pronounced ( chee - bo ), meaning food in Italian.
We are the married owners, Jonathan Santini and Olivia Torretta Santini.
Our journey together began in Rome more than 7 years ago.
Jonathan being a Roman citizen and Olivia being an American student
met by chance at Campo Di Fiori in the center of Rome.
More specifically outside “The Drunken Ship”, an American bar in the heart of Rome.
Olivia remained in Italy for several years
experiencing all that Rome and it’s culture have to offer.
Cafes, food, music, art, history, and best of all food.
Shortly after marrying in 2014 our dream of bringing a taste of the Roman lifestyle
and the taste of Roman casual food to Wakefield, was realized:
We opened Cibo Cafe and Bistro.
Keeping our love for everything Roman and combining American tastes,
Cibo became and remains a place to enjoy great food, coffee, espresso, wine, beer,
Italian cordials and great company.
We, Jonathan and Olivia,
believe that dining in our cafe is to be an experience not just a meal.
Cafes in Rome bring people together.
We love to see our customers brought together while enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner. Enjoy a glass of Italian wine or an Italian beer.
Dine in the evening with an antipasto or a flatbread pizza.
Come sit on our outside patio and enjoy an authentic cappuccino.
Our menu is sure to have something for everyone.
If dining out does not work for you on a particular day, we are partnered with Uber Eats, giving you the option for delivery to home or office.
